Effect of Post Shooting Spray and Covering Material on Banana Bunch on its Yield Attributes and yield

The experiment was carried out during the year 2017-18 and 2018-19 at Horticultural Research Farm, Department of Horticulture, B. A. College Agriculture, AAU, Anand to study “Effect post shooting spray covering material on bunch for yield, yield attributes banana (Musa paradisiaca L.) cv. Grand Naine”. comprises involving six levels sprays namely; control, humic acid 2 %, 2, 4-D 30 mg/l, gibberellic (GA3) 100 CPPU 4 mg/l sulphate potash (SOP) % with two viz., non- woven bag blue colour polyethylene sleeve (6 perforated) covering. Experiment laid in a Completely Randomized Design (Factorial) three repetitions. Post were given twice i.e. 1st after complete opening inflorescence 2nd days first immediately second spray. results present investigation bunches sprayed GA3 non-woven recorded significantly maximum length, length finger, girth weight fruit yield.
